    The Kentucky Board of Housing Buildings and Construction has approved two new building codes for use across the Commonwealth and both codes will go into effect beginning January 1, 2014.

    The Past Presidents of our organization came together at the Annual Past Presidents Dinner Wednesday evening at Dudley's in downtown Lexington.  After much conjoling and banter, Jim Cutter was eventually voted in as the newest member.

    The HBAK Keeneland Outing proved to be a "winning" experience for all who attended.

  • 2014 Kentucky Legislative Session Convenes January 7th



    The Kentucky General Assembly will begin its 2014 Legislative Session on Tuesday January 7th.

    This long session of the Legislature will include establishing a two year budget and the consideration of over 700 individual bills that will be filed during the three month period.

    Kentucky's Local and State Association Executive Officers provide the consistency in operating the associations from one year to the next.  Working with the Association leadership, they carry out the policies set by the officers and directors.

  • K4C Construction Career Fair

    The 2013 K4C Construction Career Fair was held September 24-25 at the Shelby County Fairgrounds. Builder and associate members from across the state joined together to present over 2000 students with a unique learning experience. Thanks to all who participated!
