Robert M. Weiss - Executive Vice President 
Bob Weiss has served as Executive Vice President of the Home Builders Association of Kentucky since April of 1985. He also serves as the Chief Lobbyist for the housing industry in Kentucky.
During that time the Association has risen from 1,700 member firms to just over 8,000 today.
Prior to serving as the HBA of Kentucky Executive Vice President, Weiss served as Associate Director of the Home Builders Association of Indiana from 1974 to 1985.
A 1974 graduate of Franklin College of Indiana, Bob received a BA in History and Journalism.
He is a former member of the Kentucky Affordable Housing Trust Fund Commission, and the Governor’s Earthquake Readiness Task Force. He is a current member of the Fannie Mae Partnership Advisory Board.
He has served as President of the Kentucky Society of Association Executives in 1991.
Weiss served on the Board of Directors of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) Executive Officers Council in 1989, 1990, 1991, and 2000.
Bob served as the President of the NAHB Executive Officers Council for 2003. He currently resides in Versailles, Kentucky with his wife Diane, and son Pete.
