This is Representative Koch's third term in office as he got elected in 2019. Koch has a depth of knowledge and valuable experience that he brings to the General Assembly. He served 8 years as an intelligence officer in the Marine Corps, and he paid his way through college at the University of Kentucky working as a blacksmith shoeing horses.

Representative Koch has served as Vice-Chair of this committee for the last four years and is well prepared to step into the role of Chairman. Koch understands what it takes for our industry to thrive and to assure the Kentucky economy remains strong. He values and understands the mission of the Home Builders of Kentucky. We are looking forward to working with him as we continue to focus on key housing issues such as removing regulatory barriers to housing affordability, protecting property rights, providing tax relief for small businesses, and promoting sustainable growth. Click here for a short film highlighting his experience. We look forward to hearing from Chairman Koch when the Home Builders Association of Kentucky visits the Capitol in Frankfort for our 2023 Housing and Building Industry Day.
